1.How can I use the lightbox function?
Simply register, log in, and click "Lightbox" (on the top right of the screen) to
add lightboxes, or to rename or delete them. You can also show others your lightbox
by emailing them a link. After you searched for photos, you can add them to your
lightbox by clicking "Lightbox" under the photo. You can also choose which lightbox
you want to put the photo in by choosing from the bottom left album list.
2.Is there any higher resolution image
for me to produce layout?
In most cases, there are no larger resolutions for RF images. After logging in,
it is possible to obtain a 1-2MB sized image for RM images by clicking "Download
Comp".
3.Can I find all the suppliers' images
in your website?
You can find most of the suppliers images on our website, however due to updating
issues, our collection may not be immediately updated with new photos. To browse
complete collections from our suppliers, you can visit their website through the
links provided on the homepage.
4.How can I sort the images by collection?
To sort images by collection, click "Search" on the top of the website, and choose
from the "filter by brand" list.
5.I'm registered on PanoramaStock site.
Do I need to register again in Masterfile site?
Yes. If you have already registered on the PanoramaStock site, your username and
password will not work on the Masterfile site.
6.Which browsers are compatible with this
site?
For Windows platform: Internet Explorer 5.x and newer. Netscape 6.x and newer.
For Mac platform: Internet Explorer 5.x and newer. Netscape 6.x and newer.

Yes. You can search without registering on our site. But you can't download the
comp file without registeration. To download non-watermarked comps, or to save images
to your Lightbox for later access, you'll need to register in our website .
8.How do I download free comping images?
From the Search Results, Lightbox or Image Details page, click the 'Download comp'
link beneath the image and your comping image will appear in a pop-up window. To
save this image, follow the browser and platform-specific instructions that appear.
9.What is a virtual CD?
It is a collection of royalty-free images based on a theme that is offered for sale
online for immediate download. Following a purchase you can immediately access the
contents of your virtual CD online from the 'my virtual CDs' section of your account.
Most virtual CDs have corresponding physical CDs available for a non-refundable
service fee.
10.What is a RM photo?
Rights-managed photo are high-quality products with a license and fee based on your
specific use. Details regarding usage, media, duration and geographic distribution
of use must be specified. The buyer may also choose to purchase an exclusive license,

Royalty-free pricing is based solely on the size of the product you need, not the
specific use. You don't have to pay any additional fees on a use-by-use basis. Once
you purchase a royalty-free product, you may use it multiple times for multiple
projects without paying additional fees. Royalty-free images offer creative professionals
an alternative to right-managed imagery -- without sacrificing quality or creativity.
Royalty-free products provide a solution for every budget, with few usage restrictions.
Once you pay the fee for a royalty-free product, you can use the images as frequently
and creatively as you'd like.
12.Why is the downloaded image size only
4-5MB, when the given image size is 40MB?
Our digital file is compressed into JPEG format. JPEG stands for Joint Photography
Expert Group, and is a file format based on a data compression system that reduces
file size to as little as 10% of the original size without any great loss to the
image quality, and remain the same actual printing size at the same time. I t is
an ideal file format for storage and transfer.
13.How can I tell what image size is
appropriate for my purposes?
This will vary based on the usage.
As a guideline:
For A3 size documents, 49 - 70MB (300dpi)
A4 size documents, 25 - 48MB (300dpi)
A5 size documents, 13 - 24MB (300dpi)

Yes, you will need to register again because the english website is independent
from the Chinese website.
